This conch shell is hand decorated, it is a mini version of the bigger ones that are used as an instument in ceremonies, you can blow on it so it makes a mystical sound or use it to pour water over ones hands to become purified. In India the sound of the conch is associated with the sacred syllable AUM, the first sound of creation.
